- Heritage Lottery Fund gives the Go Ahead to All Aboard for Stockwell

The Heritage Lottery Fund has awarded a grant of £49,400 to the architectural education charity Our Hut to run a programme of events over the next 18 months focusing on the heritage of the Stockwell Bus Garage in South London. It will ultimately coincide with the Bus Garage’s 60th anniversary and the 2012 Olympics.

For the second year running Go-Ahead London staff have come away victorious at the London Bus Awards. This annual event, hosted by TfL, is held to recognise the excellent work carried out every day to run London’s bus network, deliver excellent customer service and keep 8,500 buses on the roads. Go-Ahead London were shortlisted in three categories and were outright winners in two.
