Bus Drivers - South London
London Central and London General operate more than 1300 buses in and around London. To ensure that we provide a reliable service, we employ more than 3500 drivers. London Central operates from bus garages in Bexleyheath, Camberwell, New Cross and Peckham, and London General in Bermondsey, Merton, Putney, Stockwell, Sutton, Waterloo and Wimbledon.
We have an extremely diverse workforce representing the multi-cultural society that we live and work in. However, we are keen to encourage more women to become bus drivers as they are one group that we feel are under represented.
You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years (subject to meeting certain criteria) and be prepared to work shifts. In addition, you must be numerate and literate as well as being able to deal with people in a tactful and confident manner.
